Deltapontjes

Island hopping around the Haringvliet? You can do it with the Deltapontjes! The Deltapontjes network stretches across the entire Haringvliet region. This year, ten boats operate in the area: nine small ferries and the Waterbus. The Waterbus travels from Rotterdam and Dordrecht to the island of Tiengemeten.

The ferries connect Hoeksche Waard, Voorne Putten, and Goeree Overflakkee. Most ferries run from late April to late September, but a few operate year-round for commuters.

With special boats, passengers can cross the water with the wind in their hair and enjoy an unforgettable experience!

For many, the open water feels like a great adventure – a moment of relaxation. Since each ferry has its own unique character, every crossing offers a new experience. In short: the Deltapontjes never get boring.

Bicycles are welcome on all connections. Thanks to the cycling junction network, it’s easy to plan a fun route across one or more islands.

You can take a break at one of the many cafés or restaurants. Now that the weather is getting nicer, it’s the perfect time to hop on a Deltapontje and explore the area. Especially with children – they’ll love all the beauty this region has to offer. It’s no wonder the Deltapontjes are known as the most fun ferries around Hoeksche Waard! www.deltapontjes.nl.
